Tech Day.... Sunday Aug 17th

THANKS FOR LEAVING YOUR OIL ON MY FRONT YARD!

jphish 08-03-2008 01:38 PM

We should do this in Kingsland. I have all the required tools for those jobs. I Have a driveway that can fit 6 cars. A yard that can fit a few more.

yarbrough 08-03-2008 02:10 PM

Good point James.

nappymike 08-03-2008 04:07 PM

:thinker: I was wondering if you were talking about a differential or a different. I was about to freak out on you. :shout: No we cannot change out a differential.

jphish 08-03-2008 04:28 PM

Headers are easy to install. I am speaking in the sense of more than one header.

you mean header unless there is more than one header on a s2k :roflmao:

jphish 08-03-2008 04:33 PM

I use Honda MTF for transmission.

Mobil 1 10W-30 fully synthetic oil

Mobil 1 75W-90 differential fluid.

altahina 08-03-2008 07:05 PM

I think we should make a list of the installs/tasks that people are wanting to accomplish.

BAMbam160 08-03-2008 08:06 PM

Man I hope I'm in town for this. I just just picked up a part called a wayne angle block. According to the Vee Dub people (all the other people I hang out with) and the guy who makes them, this thing is guaranteed to get ride of any CEL. Regardless of exhaust mods. With any luck its not :bs: and I'll be CEL free for the first time in about a year. Hope to see you all their, where ever we go!

You are an idiot.
This is what I meant by more than one header.

Five denotes more than one. Therefore, since it is more than one you must use the plural form of the word. :pat:

I would be up for this in Kingsland, I need to do my diff + tranny and i could grab those tires off James at the same time

I know at my place I don't have any room to do this stuff comfortably and its a PIA

ToEnvy 08-04-2008 07:43 AM

Wow, I see you guys are excited about this  ... I like Chelsea's idea of making a list of what each person wants to get done. Just post up what you guys want done and I'll modify the first post with names and tasks to be done. It would be good to have a game plan so things will be more organized.

AzN Tim 08-04-2008 07:59 AM

You guys should make a wash and wax day too.

ToEnvy 08-04-2008 08:10 AM

this is going to make for a very long sunday ;)

jphish 08-04-2008 08:19 AM

It's all good. I have a huge couch and a pool table to keep folks entertained if we decide to do it in Kingsland.

altahina 08-04-2008 08:21 AM

you can take me off the list... i shouldn't have anything to install :fingerscrossed: if i can keep my wallet closed

jphish 08-04-2008 08:23 AM

You could still come and watch a bunch of monkeys with footballs.

ToEnvy 08-04-2008 08:24 AM

Springs perhaps?!?!?!?!?!?!?

jphish 08-04-2008 08:26 AM

;)

altahina 08-04-2008 08:32 AM

I may wander down there... assist in handing out drinks or something cumbersome like that :p

As for springs, I think I'll wait until I get rims/tires to determine how low I can be.

lucky3underworld 08-04-2008 08:35 AM

Hey guys i might be in for a diff fluid and tranny fluid change. Only if the baby permits. :baby:

altahina 08-04-2008 08:39 AM

congrats on the new one! (i'm assuming its here by now...)

ToEnvy 08-04-2008 08:44 AM

I'll add you to the list  ... if the baby doesn't permit, at least you tried right?

jphish 08-04-2008 08:54 AM

jphish 08-05-2008 08:50 AM

ToEnvy 08-05-2008 08:57 AM

:roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:

jphish 08-05-2008 03:47 PM

:bump: If you guys can bring a few jack stands and at least one more jack it will help things considerably. From this list it will only take us a few hours to do everything.

yarbrough 08-05-2008 04:04 PM

What about food?

jphish 08-05-2008 04:05 PM

What about it?

ToEnvy 08-05-2008 04:33 PM

jphish 08-05-2008 04:35 PM

Who likes Lasagna? My wife has offered to make Lasagna for everyone.

jphish 08-05-2008 04:51 PM

There has been some discussion about this. Let me know if you have a suggestion.

James

I guess just the top down mod. Im current on all the fluids.... I wish i would have bought some damn coilovers or something. lol We should do a day to install and Hondata img on everyones car, that would be awesome.

ToEnvy 08-06-2008 08:12 AM

Yes that would be  Maybe we can all chip in for coilovers on Sparky

That's a little more involved. You would want to start that on a Saturday in case something goes wrong.

jphish 08-06-2008 09:14 AM

Damnit! That didn't work. I was trying to merge a poll into this but it ended in disaster. :banghead:

lucky3underworld 08-06-2008 11:09 AM

hey guys sorry for my dumbness but what is the top down mod .

jphish 08-06-2008 11:20 AM

It's a mod that allows you to put the top down while driving with only one click on the E brake.

ToEnvy 08-06-2008 12:54 PM

great mod

jphish 08-06-2008 02:12 PM

It's not for me.

lucky3underworld 08-06-2008 02:33 PM

aint that bad with the wind resistance and so.

yarbrough 08-06-2008 02:36 PM

You normally only try it under 15 mph

lucky3underworld 08-06-2008 02:43 PM

LOL we'll knowing someone like Chelsea shed probably try it at speeds of 50 trying to make it a transformer car. Even though she got a hardtop.

lucky3underworld 08-06-2008 02:45 PM

Sorry Chelsea didnt mean to throw you under the bus like that . yOU WERE the first one i could thinkof James is just to self controlled for something like that and tim well hes just Tim lol.
