Well I am getting a new clutch thanks to TSB 54 and Lanier Honda. The technician who examined my car said he couldnt believe how loud the buzzing had become. They say it well take a couple of days once the part comes in to do the install. They are going to give me a rental so its cool. Ansely says no S2000 rental though . Oh well! I am going to try and get it done this weekend with a little luck.

Ahhhggg!

I just remembered i have to baby my new clutch for 600 miles. Hope I can get that taken care of before the Dillard house run.

Lanier said they would not put in any aftermarket parts during a warenty repair. Im sure I could push the point but I am not really looking for any change in transmission just yet.

I think Honda Carland said they would put in an aftermarket flywheel at the same time if you ask them nicely.

Let us all know how it goes. I know that several members are wanting some local feedback.

I am very interested. I am getting a considerable amount of vibration and noise from the transmission when decelerating in thrid gear. I also get the occasional missed 2nd gear (could just be me). I am thinking that TSB 54 is needed very soon. Brian, maybe you can drive my car around the block and tell me if you heard the same thing with yours.

Dropped my car off this morning to have the clutch replaced. They estimated that I should have the car back no later than tommorow. I am now driving a Chevy Cavilier thanks too Hondas generous Rental car allotment. I guess I cant complain at least they gave me a rental car and its not a Geo Metro. The guy at enterprise said that the car was a slut. I replied good I intend to treat it like one. He then says thats fine everyone else does. I will keep you all posted on the clutch replacement as well as the Chevy Crapilier that I am now driving.

I had TSB54 done and have had the car back for 100 miles so far. I can tell a major difference in how smooth and how loud the transmission seems. The shifter seems to move into position much smoother now. I also have not noticed any grinding or even the lound noises that it used to make. I would say that if you are able to get this done, then do it. Just plan it, cause you have to lay off of the vehicle for 600 miles.

Troup, did you get yours finished yet? You didn't mention it when I saw you on Sunday.
