That's funny...those pics look just like the views I saw on my drive........

Where is it that you stopped for lunch? That street and the "2 hour parking" spots do not look familiar.

I don't know that I ever went through the actual town of Highlands. After exiting the national forest, I found the 106 south without going through town. I don't know if I turned on the 106 before I got to town, or if I just took a circuitous route and missed the town altogether. That really sucks....I definitely would have caught up to you there. Sounds like I passed on by and got back before the group.

So close, and yet so far.............

Wow! That looked like fun! But I had to go Talladega to cheer OTHER S2000 drivers up yesterday! Plus I really need to improve my driving. I would definitely try to make the next run!

I posted a link (for pictures of Talladega) in our local website to protect other S2000 members going to the track and keep their warranty. I think we are the only people with small displacement engines (4-cylinders) , Other than one Lotus and few BMW Race cars! Check it out under the "Track Time" section! www.s2000atlanta.com
