I met a few of you Savannah folks last November when we came up to run Roebling road. Well, Maggie and I are coming back up to run Roebling again.

We will be driving up after work on Thursday. It will be Me Maggie and my buddy Nick. We are running on Friday with Seat-Time and then staying to hang out on Saturday and driving home on Sunday.

Last time we were up ToEnvy set up a fun meet, then we went on a kick ass ghost tour after. We deff want to see more of Savannah so plan on a few nights of drinking and having a good time. Let me know if you guys want to hang out.

dang... I'm running the SCCA PDX on Saturday at Roebling... was cheaper and had SCCA benefits (insurance, organization, etc).

 

hey lmk how the SCCA stuff goes I never went to one. I know somestuff is cheaper but with Seat-time I get 8-9 20+min sessions in a day so the actual track time / $ is pretty good

 

This will be Maggies first real trackday I am really looking forward to seeing how she does. She has gotten very good at autocross.

 

will do... I was tempted to do seat-time, but... being new to the area and not reading any reviews of how they run... I went with tried/true.

ultimately, you can't beat the 8-20 min sessions... but, I am usually done for after 4... figured, if I hadn't done something completely moronic in 1.5hrs worth of seat time, it will likely happen soon

 

you'll be fine at Roebling just remember on the last turn if you know its going wrong don't try and be a hero just go off!
the grass isn't too bad I've been over that way a few times

I've prided myself in keeping cars from spinning/going off track...

well... my CRX i spun/went off maybe four times (two of which were captured on video). otherwise, no spins/offs in nearly 8 years of track days/time trials

maybe I don't push it hard enough...

 

damn thats some record I usualy have at least one incident!

what time trials do you do?
I just got my license for NASA TT and I'm setting up the car for TTD
I'd run the SCCA but you need a cage, harness, firesuit etc
