Well sort of. old house had the icemaker on the 2nd floor break on and flood that floor and below, then another time I also had a pipe burst and flood the ground floor (technically didn't have a basement)

So neither technically the basement but both also sucked, but yea I probably am cursed. One of the brand new mirrors I pulled out of the box yesterday for the old house was already smashed so maybe that has something to do with it.
