Jeff will be staying overnight. Subsisting on somebody's rotten lunch left in the fridge and a govt issued coffee substance.

I still can't find the great blizzard thread where we talk to Jeff as he drives home in his Jeep at night... sucks.

7:00 The parking lot has been empty for 4 hours now only my Jeep remains.
7:05 I tell s2ki HAW members that I am making my way to the Jeep after having consumed my last punani sandwich. I tried to finish my cup of coffee which had become stone cold, but it just rolled out of my mouth. I guess I'm full I muttered to myself as I gathered my things and headed out into the night.
7:40 The snow is coming down so hard that the windshield wipers only serve as a reminder that all electrical systems are operating. Despite the elements, my iphone 4 is able to allow me constant contact with my friends. I report when I can only stopping to pee outside on the side of the road. The dead are everywhere or maybe that is just a trick of the light. Shadows moving from the light of my lit cigarette dancing across snow covered bushes, etc.
8:10 as the street lights become more sparse I now rely on the brake lights of other vehicles in front of me slowly winding their way through the treacherous mountains... I think how fortunate I am that I am still alive despite what the news on the radio says about the death toll...
9:30 lunch is starting to talk to me and I fear home is still hours away. I knew I should not have had them got dang quesadillas...
10:00 contact with my friends wanes as they all go to bed in their comfy warm beds... I hate those mutha hunchers... oh it's just as well as the iphone battery is low and I need the remaining battery life for any emergency that may arise. I hope Bobbie is home ok. Should I record my thoughts and tell her I love her and stuff in case I die out here?
10:07 ok no really I gotta poop... I have nothing to wipe with... I may have to use my socks.

It was not a group text thing. It may be that people were wishing him well here with individual texts.
