I'm excited about my AP2 tranny being installed. Sadly though, it will necessitate shifting after the Loop and before pit-out sequence on Shenandoah. It may also have an effect on the section after NASCAR Bend at VIR(hard left followed by sweeping right before the bridge straight).

Maybe dropping to a 4.44-geared diff might be the answer at those two circuits.

I'm sure it will equal out in the end.

I currently have 4.57's. Are you saying the drop in gearing might offset the difference in the two transmissions?

more saying that the added acceleration from the AP2 gearing should offset the one or two times you are up/down shifitng.
