MD between Washington and Baltimore is a really spendy area.
Our tax dollars at work.

I'm sure you could hear much worse if you ask any of the HAW home owners. I at the cost of houses around here.
Every so often I think about moving up that way, then I look at my mortgage statement: ~1000 sqft, 3.5 acres... $437.09/mo
Yeah, but you gotta live way out there!

Honestly, we are done with this region but we will be here for at least a couple more years.

This is true, but traffic up there is so bad that the travel time probably isn't any worse.

Oh chit! A wild apartment appears! http://baltimore.cra...2415360002.html

It's bigger, cheaper, has a MUCH bigger kitchen, and it's closer to downtown than the place we applied for today. Things just got interesting.

I didn't have to put a deposit on the other place, so I have nothing binding me to it. Trying to see this new place tomorrow after work.
it's not a done deal til the lease is signed.. on both sides GL!
Speaking of that, we just got the "initial" approval to finance/build or vacation/retirement place in NC. Who knows if the rest of it will work out, or not. I have been busting my ass on this for several months and hope it becomes a reality in a week or two.

That's actually not bad for Bethesda.. or ghetto Bethesda (North Rockville or Kensington?) I looked a few years ago and the COA fees up 750+ were too much to stomach.

Awesome donwtown apartment there, Matt. But I see no parking. The other place had a lot right outside the building.

But you cannot beat the location. 1 block off main street. And you do not have to take main street to get home.
