windows of course

What happens when you put it back in the PC?
Okay... That probably means that it was never bootable so putting it in the system itself won't do anything. Can you put more than one drive in the system (sorry if this was asked and answered)?

After it asked to format the drive in the new enclosure? Yeah, Windows got confused. Time to kiss a penguin on the buttocks.

awesome. <10 minutes from my house. remind me about this when it happens.
iCal "Set Reminder" probably more reliable than "Set Gigdy reminder mode"

Do I just download the image from here: http://www.knopper.n...x/index-en.html ??

is the data recovery software already installed on that?

what it will do is mount the drive and allow you to open it just like you would "my computer" in windows, this should allow you to copy the data you want off and then allow windows to format it, then copy the data back over to the dirve.
most excellent.

it's been a while since i had to recover data, but i used to carry a bootable linux distro, like knoppix, with me that i could at least copy the data off the drive format then copy the data back.
James,

Any experience with repairing Apple LED monitors?
I am not a fan of them, they don't have a very long life span.
