Honestly, I don't like any wireless for HD. The reviews on it seem OK though, though it is on the expensive side. Can you take a pic of the fireplace and where you're running the HDMI from, maybe we can suggest something? There are Flat HDMI cables, if you're worried about running it under carpetting or against the wall to get it where you need it to go.

Yup. Hell, cut a channel in the drywall. Run it in wall where possible. Wireless for this? Not so much. For a conference room or something, sure.
