Exact opposite of the question I just got. One of our programs communicates to another via ip calls. We got an email from the iterh people telling us we need to use DNS now and not an IP address so the developers asked me if it would still work since they only communicate via TCP/IP.

but doh I will probably be getting odd suggestions in my email from Amazon now.









I patiently explained DNS to them instead. Just amazes me since one of these guys has been a developer for 20 years and the other for 10 years.
