that happened to me once, except not the yuppie people... it was an older lady in her 60's or 70's.

California or RI?
I liked that town at this time of year. Kim and I flew up to RI on a whim a few years ago about this time of year and spent some time in Newport, I liked it.

Decided to try another style of martial art. Gonna take up hapkido this time. I wanted to learn aikido, but because i've always been a kicker/striker, i wanted to learn more hand to hand stuff yet still utilize my kicks in the same form. Which hapkido does.
Kewl. Looks like a sort of Korean descendent of aikijitsu, though the historical stuff is tangled up in the Japanese occupation.
Essentially the same. Aikido was founded a little earlier than hapkido. Aikido is more of a defensive *soft* style hand to hand movements where opponents attack you and you deflect.

Hapkido is both defensive and offense and utilizing a lot of kicks much like Tae Kwon Do along with weapons as well. So it's like a mix of tae kwon do and aikido

Seems right up my alley since I like to kick the chit outta things.

RI. We've spent a lot of time up here, since the mother in law moved out of NYC to here after 30 years. It's really great in the summer and really nice in the early fall. It's chilly here in the off season, but the lack of people is pretty awesome, too.

The ipad mini... for when your iphone isn't big enough and your ipad is too big. next from apple: the ipad mini mini, for when your ipad mini is too medium.
