I signed up for a four week Linux class that is proving to be more work than I anticipated. Unfortunately, week 1 was the week we were at the Dragon so that was a wash and I have been trying to play catchup ever since. I thought I was going to get caught up yesterday but I ran into a PHP issue that I could not figure out and did not make as much progress and I would have liked. Ended up staying up WAY too late to futz with it and I am still behind in the coursework.

Mother Northrop owes me an hour since our weekend work took longer than planned. Going to use that time to do more catchup work. Week 3 course materials will be posted at about 5 pm tonight. REALLY want to be caught up by then.
If only you knew some people who know Linux you could have contacted for help

I'm trying to do this on my own. That is part of why I am doing the class... I could have (and probably will) reach out to the instructor to see what I am doing wrong. He has been really good with helping out my classmates - he gives us clues on what we are doing wrong and sort of sends us down the path to figuring it out instead of just giving us the answer. It is fun and I am enjoying it. I just wish I wasn't so far behind.

FYI... He already released week 3.

Those three Linux Challenges? He has written scripts that will break the various LAMP stacks we have been building since the beginning of the course. The goal will be to figure out how they are broken and fix them.

The good news is that this is what I spent most of yesterday doing so I think I am already a leg up!

Meh.

I have a feeling this year will be different for el capitals. We will see. You will take this as a dig, but I am very impressed Crosby has played without complaint so far. Maybe he grew up a bit.

He's been this way for at least 2-3 years. Probably since the lockout, maybe?
