Here is the question: Are you tracking your street car or streeting your track car? You can't have both.

If you want to keep a nice ride that you are occasionally going to run around in circles, get the collision. If, however, you really mean to get serious about the track, the car is going to get banged up. A LOT. Most of that damage will be minor and some bondo and rattle can will keep it nice enough. Why, though, have collision on a car like that?

I can already hear Skip saying I am wrong so I will stop there. This is just my advice that you solicited so take it for what it is worth; nada.
