You would have to get it like liquid nitrogen cold. Even then...

The cast iron pipe typically used for sprinkler systems have 1/4" to 1/2" thick walls. The shit is HEAVY. Think about it... It has to work in situations of extreme heat and pressure. Plus, they are usually designed to survive freezing temperatures.

I'm sure it is possible I'm just saying that it would take some work. Anger and a 5 pound sledge hammer ain't gonna cut it.
dunno - most older home have cast iron plumbing - winter comes & BOOM busted pipes.

not really, enable ipsec or windows firewall rules, run a net view to get all the computer browser info (or maybe an ldap lookup, or maybe he just has all the server ips) and start the fun.
I still don't think this can be done(especially when one is angry and is not thinking clearly) within a few hours(from afternoon when he was fired to end-of-day).

This is what the whole moral of the story boils down to. Procedural bed shitting by Fannie Mae.

"Despite Makwana's termination, Makwana's computer access was not immediately terminated," wrote FBI agent Jessica Nye.

when one gets fired, isn't he/she supposed to be escorted outside the building right away?

Different kind of pipe. The stuff used in residential systems is much thinner walled. The fittings are significantly lighter weight as well.

the article said he thought he was getting fired due to a scripting mistake earlier in the month, so he had at least a couple weeks to work on it.
