eh ours is more about awareness that we don't like to do stuff together anymore it seems - I don't know how else to word it. She doesn't share my interests & I don't share hers and when there is compromise - it just means one person has to suffer & I'm tired of it.

So... A little customer service story to share.

There is a company that makes all sorts of rubber and plastic cases for cell phones, iPods, etc called Speck Products ( http://www.speckproducts.com/ if you are interested). I really like their stuff... I have purchased a couple cell phone cases and several iPod cases from them. My last order was at the end of last November.

I had some computer issues when I placed that order. I blamed it on their website not liking Firefox. I didn't get charged for the order nor did I receive a verification e-mail. I wasn't all that upset about it because I didn't really "need" the items I was ordering. I was just taking advantage of a really good sale to get some stuff I sort of wanted. I didn't think anything of it for a while.

Well, my account was charged at the end of December for the "order." Again, no e-mails were received. I was able to get an order number, though, by going back to the website noted above and looking up my order history. I was pretty happy about it since the sale had passed but the order history showed I was getting the goods at the sale price. At that time, the order showed that some items were on back-order and that I would get my stuff when it was in.

That was over a month ago...

I called Speck yesterday and was all like WTF? They told me that THEY had been having the computer issues and that my order had gotten lost. They offered to refund my money or send me the goods overnight. I chose the latter. Speck is located in California, by the way... Overnight shipping was probably more than my order!

My cases are sitting on my front porch at this very moment. :WIN:

Sorry I would take Bugatti over the Zonda. The Zonda is bare metal etc. Bugatti is hand stitched perfect interior.
That zonda isn't even street legal. But the normal Zonda is sick on the inside.

Oi... damn.

Bobbie and I just ended a four day tiff. Suxors... We don't argue over e-mail, though. All of ours are either face to face or involve the "silent treatment." This one was my fault so I had to do a mea culpa the other night to end it.

I still say she was wrong but I was wrong-er.

Silent treatment FTW

Yea... I've fallen on my own sword so many times the handle broke.

This particular tiff was especially dumb, too... I need to learn that sometimes I should just keep my damn mouth shut. It is just that it is SO hard when she says really stupid shit.
I try keeping my mouth shut, and am rather good at it, but she gets upset when i don't talk too...

Bobbie and I are there, too... She more or less puts up with my car stuff and I more or less put up with her rugby stuff. I think the things that make it less "painful" for us is that she really likes hanging out with the people at the car meets (I know she could not care less about the cars) and I do my photography thing at her rugby matches (I couldn't care less about rugby).
