Well, now I am REALLY angry.

Apple offers student discounts. I could have saved some coin on Bobbie's iPod!
My sisters BF bought a macbook and got a free touch for being a student...

iPods make great SWAG. I remember the company I used to work for giving them away at all of our big staff meetings. The little ones (like 4 or 8 gig nano's) are fairly inexpensive now. IMHO, they don't get nutty in price until you cross over 16 gig.

You need to find someone that works at an Apple Store. I got my better half for xmas the 24" IMAC fully loaded which is normally around $3000 for $2000. The workers discount is incredible!! It's like 30-40% I think.
O RLY? Perhaps I just need a second job then.

The prices of the iPods look to be fixed by Apple. EVERYBODY that sells them has them for the exact same price.

Regarding the title,

I have on occasion driven my S2000 to Rt 211 Thorton gap. Which is Sport bike mecca in the area.

I have caught and passed many a sportbike going up that road, much to their amazement.

Good to know...

If I do get a second one, it will probably just live in my car. I'll keep my 3rd gen nano for gym use since I already have a nice armband case for it.

My biggest concern is size; I currently have about 4000 songs. That is right at the limit for a 16 gig nano. Granted, I don't listen to most of that so I could probably get away with one of those. I don't want to get the classics because I am afraid of the moving parts in a super-abusive sports car (and eventually Jeep) environment.
