Thats not changing, consoles will always be on the leading edge of the technology and will typically cost roughly the same regardless of inflation and the economy. PS1 was $300 and they lost money when that was released. All the rest of the systems followed suit. PS3 was probably the most notable system to really sh!t the bed at release. The blu-ray drive was stupid expensive and the system was being sold far under production cost.

All the money is made in games and accessories or after the console has been out for a year or two and the technology becomes cheaper.

And yes, the new zombie map, as well as the 3 new maps, is cool. Kyle has made it to Lvl 13 on NZ.

 

Since Street View is sometimes a little off... maybe it's one of the nicer houses.
