Speaking of which, I need to get that back from Carolyn's brother.
Even though the maps are getting seriously old, it is still way fun.
Okay... All you iPod geniuses out there... I needs some help.
I have an 80 gig Classic that is stuck in a boot loop. I have tried resetting it (Menu+select), restoring it through iTunes, and even Disk Mode (select+Play/Pause). I even ran through most of the tests in diagnostic mode (select+previous).
No joy.
The internet hasn't been particularly useful to me since this thing is a wee bit dated.
Anybody got any ideas?
I'm going to hit up the Apple Store in Tysons tonight to see what they say but I thought I would check with my gurus first.

put it out to pasture and get yourself one from this century.
It actually isn't all that old. It has the new screen and is full color.
In fact, it is still under warranty. To be honest, I wouldn't bother with it otherwise. Oh... And it was free.
