Well... I think I just crossed the line into Jeep Geek-dome. 
I just ordered the rest of the CB parts I need for my rig. The antenna mount went on yesterday. All I need to do is wire up the radio itself, run the coax back to the new mount, and bolt up the antenna. I should be in business.

One of my buddies had to use a torch to modify my engine skid to get it on the Jeep yesterday. I was envious of his abilities with that thing.

Popular consensus is that you should never reuse axle nuts. So if you ever take them off, you should replace them.
It is better to tighten an existing one than not tighten it at all.
