The crust of it all is that my m-i-l is talking about selling her '96 del Sol to my son for $1k. She is the second owner and has had it for almost 15 yrs. Timing belt/water pump just replaced last week.

It's not that bad of a car actually. Small. Powerless. FWD. Not saying he couldn't, but it'd be a lot harder for him to get into driving trouble than I did with my first car- '72 Nova with a 307.
