I was not expecting the tax return at all. This is the first time in like 5 years that I haven't owed. I was expecting to have to fund my trip on plastic. I really didn't want to do that but with things being the way they are, I wasn't going to have any choice.

we owed, but it was only $300.~ - usually there is another 0 in that. So overall - it cost me $600.~ the other half being our accountant's fee.
