Stop by my place and I will loan you my chainsaw (seeing your previous post)
I actually meant next Tuesday.

I should honestly own my own chainsaw and I have decided to take some of the money I am getting back on my taxes to purchase one. I'm just debating between the Echo at HD or spending a little extra coin on a Stil.

Jeff - a Stihl or a Husky is what you want. I killed three saws in four years and have had my Stihl for 15 years. I have abused the hell out of it and it stillstarts in a few pulls and cuts anything the bar can get through.

I have the 029 Farm Boss, which is kind of big for Harry Homeowner use, but they make a great saw. I think Husquevarna (SP?) is probably the only other saw I would buy. There is a Swedish brand that is better, but it is a true professional grade. I can't remember the name of it right now.

My Dad has had the same Stihl chainsaw since the early 70's - still runs fine.
