i wasn't born over there... but... my great great grandpa smuggled diamonds for the mafia from Sicily to the main land... when his boat mysteriously sank and he ended up in america.... then the mafia found him and took his daughter for ransom (for the amount of the diamonds) luckily he was a well established furniture and violin maker by then and paid it off within a week or two.
