We'll see what happens after the merger is complete, you might be able to take my job or they may let me hire people, could go either way.

I more or less knew this was coming so I am emotionally prepared for it. I just hate job hunting. At least I have one for now.
All I know is that I can't stay here much longer. I honestly can't take it anymore.
Home Sales Data Suggests Housing Slump May Be Ending
USA Today reports, "Sales of newly built homes rose a surprising 3.4% from October to November, the Commerce Department said Wednesday." This is "the third increase in four months and a sign that the housing correction may be ending." The Wall Street Journal also says "recent firmness in mortgage applications and an increase in new-home sales suggest the housing slump may be nearly over, limiting the risk of wider damage to the overall economy." But the New York Times says "many economists said the report, rather than foreshadowing a quick rebound, highlighted how fragile residential construction remained and suggested that the downturn now rattling the housing market had not yet run its course."
Another New York Times story reports the news about the housing market "helped propel stocks on Wall Street to another all-time high, with the Dow Jones industrial average rising more than 100 points to finish the day above 12,500 for the first time."
