Sorry, i don't know what "bloat" is. My dog was thought to have possibly torn the equivalent of its ACL. I waited a few days before taking him to the vet in case he just sprained his hind leg. It didn't get any better, so off to the vet. A couple of days later(5, i think), he's putting pressure on the bum leg.

That's a good sign Bloat is when the stomach twist. Very common in Akitas...what causes it? nobody knows...but It could have been from him gulping down his water and took on a lot of air. His stomach was twice the size and the poor guy was in pain...almost looked like he was having a seizure.
