My favorite movie of all time! I have Leon (Superbit) if you really like the movie and would be interested in the original cut of the film. Also, since it's Superbit, the picture quality is superior to the regular edition. I've compared them since I own both.

huh... I have Leon, as well (hence why I sold The Pro), but it's not superbit ... I don't have anything to watch it on that would make much of a difference... at the moment

Don't have time.

Did Jeff's dishwasher arrive yet?
Hey Skip!

Yup! Dishwasher arrived right on time! This is the BEST service I have received (both personally and professionally) regarding appliance order and delivery! BIG to Home Depot!

Now... The story...

Dishwasher arrived in one piece and on time... Check!

Cabinet (where the new unit is supposed to go) came out with minimal hassle... Check!

...hummm... what's that funky smell??? Oooooohnooooo... I figured I should investigate so I removed the adjoining cabinet.

Holy Looky here!

I knew I had a mold problem in the kitchen. The adjoining closet (to the left of these shots) houses my well expansion tank and water softener. When we purchased the house, all of this was a mess and leaked everywhere. I have since fixed this. To make matters worse, the water coming out of the well is REALLY cold, so the lines sweat like mad in the summer. I have since fixed this as well by insulating the lines. The closet has been dry ever since, but I am afraid that the damage is already done... I am going to have to remove EVERYTHING someday and tear the floor down to the joists. Bobbie and I are planning an addition, but it is going to be a few years before we move forward with that project.

The good news is that I BELIEVE (read: not sure) that I have my current situation under control. After the judicious application of bleach and a LOT of clean up, I now have this...

Yes, it still looks bad, but the mold is dead and I can now install the DW and the cabinet. No more funky odor! The sub floor is stained from the mold and there is still some residual dampness from the bleach-water mix. I am confident, however, that I have stopped the spread of the mold.

More pics when I get it all done (today??? God... I hope... )
