It's not the diff?
Although... I feel more comfortable swapping diffs than halfshafts.

Oh Jeff, some of those pics came out pretty good, but I'm gonna see if I can Photoshop out the other cars... it might be a while though, there are like 5 other cars in the one pic I really like...

I'm thinking mine might need to be replaced too...

When I turn the steering wheel past 90% of the way to the left, I hear a little click/pop sound (a lot like how the brakes sound after washing the car and letting it sit overnight) down there. Most likely the CV joint, right?
John my car is doing the same thing. At first I thought it was my Axle Nuts, but kevin and I checked it out and they are fine. When I orginally noticed it it was only one click, kinda like you describe sounding like the ebrake after a wash. I usually noticed it pulling out of the driveway. When I took it to the parking lot, and turned the wheel all the way to the left and went forward and backwards, the sound happend multiple times.

I think its the CV joints, but Im not sure what the symtoms are for the axle shafts.

Anyone have any ideas?

Several folks have suggested that it is in fact the CV joints versus the diff. Taking no chances... Jeff is shipping a diff just in case. I'd much rather it be the CV's... I like my gears.
Skip what kinda noises is your car making?

Yeah... my old Probe from way back had the same issue except it happened whenever I turned the wheels like halfway left...
