I suspect my bearing was failing for a long time. I was hearing some noises at low speed, kind of rattle like noises.
but when it really went bad it was a rhythmic screeching that would get louder at speed.

I blew out one of the exhaust hangers on the Jeep last weekend.
Between the header and the cat... Probably have to replace both (and maybe the muffler). The whole thing is welded together (and rustier than the Titanic).
