Former Foster Village resident myself, probably before you were born. Salt Lake blvd was one lane each way and there were no freeways.

Drove the P-Car top down this morning- 36 degrees. I was afraid to put the top up thinking the plastic might crack.

Do you guys think the polished black voodoo knob would get too hot in the sun or should i stick with the spun or pearl aluminum?
I have the polished black knob from Rick's and it gets toasty but not unbearable. The tint helps.

Been there... wasn't one of those that fell in love with Hawaii, may never go back. Big Island with the volcano was cool, Hilo was fun for a day or two. Maui or Kawaii (sp) prettiest of the Islands. Like I said been there done that, to damn far to go for a good time. 13 hours in a plane sucks. 3 hours I can be in the BVI's with a cold drink in one hand and my beeaatch in the ohter.

That's good!

I have heard that Hawaii can be a very expensive place to live. SF is almost as nice, so long as you can make it to the mountains or the beach every now and again.

My sister's in-law's place in Aptos is REALLY nice. His house is on a hill side surrounded by redwoods. VERY nice place to crash...
Cost of living in Hawaii isn't as bad as some ppl would think... its definitely much cheaper than SF... and about the same or less than everywhere else around here.

Problem is pay rate... the pay stinks. Which makes the cost of living high I guess.. hehe
