Thanks guys. It was especially hard because of the timing.

But his liver kept getting worse, his heart murmur kept getting worse, he may have had a mild stroke this past weekend.

The doctor was seriously in shock that he was still alive after everything. Last time the doc saw him was March and he thought it'd be time to put him down then, but he lived on in pretty good shape.

This morning he climbed under the covers and curled up with me like he always used to do. I think he knew it was time.
