the number one reason i havent really pushed the issue of a new job is because of my family. i cant leave them, i need to be close to them.

that was several month ago. i haven't heard anything about him not being around.

Are you sure about that? I have to admit that REALLY surprises me.

If they make it a requirement for hiring, they usually make it a reason for firing you.

nah.. once you're in.. you're in.

they only use it to fire you if they want to get rid of you. if he shows up regularly and does his work.. it's cheaper to keep him than to find someone to replace him..
