I noticed that, too.

I don't know if it is scientific proof or not but there is a whole heck of a lot more traffic on my commute at 8 am then there used to be. This summer the road was all but empty. I now need to add about 15 minutes more to get to work "on time." I've also noticed that I spend more time stuck in traffic.

It is actually worse than it was before the wheels fell of the economy. Again, I have no idea what that means, though.

instead of adding 15 minutes to trip, leave the house 10 minutes earlier....
