there is an article out there showing how to by-pass the pre-amp on the nano to get better sound if you hook it up to half decent powered speakers. the pre-amp chip they use is small and cheap, can not handle the full audio wave range.

I don't really consider myself an Audiophile. I can tell the difference between a good system and a poorly designed/cheap one but I honestly don't care that much. Especially in a noisy car like the S.
Home is a whole number story but I lack the serious moola it takes to put together a good home system. I dream of doing it someday, though.
