I know we've discussed this in here at one time or another, but eventually, the language we read/write will actually become the mumble-jumble that is proliferating our society as we breathe. Text-speak, if you will. Someday, I fathom, "your" or even "ur" will become accepted for either meaning and the reader will need to decide what the writer's intent is/was.

I do feel it will take a very long time though. Because this stuff is still taught in school, and any person who wants to be a writer (newspaper, magazine, e-journals, etc) will NEED to know how to speak properly and write properly.
