i have done over 90 NT 4 to 2003 migrations and hated every single one of them.

NT was great 10 years ago but it really has to be a pain in the butt to make it work today. Just having Active Directory alone would make we want to get rid of NT

yeah we're doing 2003-2008 migrations with some clients. The NT4s I tell them to start clean.

03-08 is not bad at all, just not a fan of power shell yet.

all of the NT - 03 were clean installs, new account, the whole 9 yards.

on both accords.

have you done NetWare to 2003 migration yet? (Also GroupWise->Exchange)? Interesting to say the least, luckily Quest makes some nice tools.

got rid of netware in the 90's except for one loan 4.1x server I kept running for awhile for our assembly programmer

I did a migration a year ago from Netware 6.5 (maybe?) I'd have to look at my notes. The Quest tool makes for messy group creation, but it makes life easier than when I used to do it 10 years ago.
