One of the spins had us heading backwards into a ditch. I never touched the brakes when the car entered the spin knowing any control would be lost if I did. No luck... couldn't countersteer successfully. Finally firmly applied the brakes. When we left the Norfolk area, it started raining. Janet and I were talking with the radio quietly playing. Not sure when, but I said, "That rain is kinda loud." It wasn't just rain... it was freezing before hitting the car!
