Thank god it was a 63 falcon with lots of ground clearance. they dragged my ass out and I apparently got up and kept falling back down (fractured my hip) and then went into shock. Someone ran to a house/dorm and phoned for an ambulance (no cell phones back then) and apparently they had to hit me with the paddles three times to jump start me when they arrived. Hip, front tooth broken a few road rash and burn marks on me but other than that OK.
