it shouldnt be less acceptable to hit a girl but it shouldne be nearly as acceptable as it is to hit another guy.

Look.. i'll say my personal feelings...I personally wouldn't hit a female out of anger or just to be a bully...
I find that a very bitch move to do...I've been pissed off to the point where i've put holes in the wall but i'll never, ever hit a female out of anger.
I keep saying out of anger because well...like skip said about that one situation...its real, its true, and i was a lifeguard for a few years and i've seen this personally happen to male AND females so sometimes you have to do things to save peoples lives.
Or sometimes in my case, sparring in martial arts class where were training ect...
one more situation...if a female, who is down right trying to kill me, has a gun or knife or some weapon and is literally trying to kill me... i can justify hitting a female to save my own life.

I ask because as we teach the idea of chivalry to men... feminism abounds with females... so where is the happy medium?
