i'm not going to disagree.. everyone should have one..but for basic trolling and going out.. clothes have simplified. a nice button up and a few high quality shirts that fit right should be all that you need.. and some nice jeans that sit at the hip

This is not 1980 anymore

i think a night on the town would be perfectly appropriate..
Alison, my dear Alison, you make me chuckle.
If I were going "out," I would feel most comfortable in a pair of jeans, a long-sleeved button-down untucked, and a pair of dress shoes. That's me. There will be times, however, where I will need a little more than that. I currently do not own a single suit or jacket. I haven't purchased any real clothing in years. My job doesn't require it and we(Janet and I) rarely had occasion to dress up. I'm starting from scratch.
I also love the Clooney look. Smart, white shirt- top two buttons unbuttoned- under a jacket.

I will feel better about that stuff once the PSA is ratified and I'm living someplace other than home. I don't want to throw ish in Janet's face. That would be inconsiderate. Now, if I didn't have to come home at wee hours of the morning...
