yea if you heard my car before with open dump...you'd freak lol... one person said it sounded like i was draggin a slew of metal across the ground, someone said it sound like a building crumbling lol..

i hated driving and hitting full boost because it was just that damn loud.

finally now its so quiet and all you hear is the turbo spooling and engine... its awesome.
Trust me I know exactly what you mean. I had a WRX before the s2000 and I had an external wastegate that was dumped and it was stupid loud. You always had to look all over the place before you even thought about stepping on it. It's one of those things that sounds cool at first but then gets old reallllll fast. Kind of like the straight cut gears I had at one point. Sweet for about 2 weeks then really really annoying.

[QUOTE=WhrDLMI,Jun 2 2010, 10:53 AM] What about his friends that had to leave him knowing he was as good as dead?

If Dan (crazycracker) was still active, he lived about 15 minutes away. Other than him, yeah, Westminster is as bad as West Virginia.

They do great work on Subie's but they also have my new wheels and the guy I was buying them from has been keeping them at IAG. Just found out last night that the shop will be closed Saturday which is really the only day I could pick them up. Was hoping maybe just maybe someone lived close enough that was also coming to Old Meets New and could get them for me and bring them to the meet. I realize this is asking a lot but I have to at least ask. Unfortunately this Saturday is really the only time I have free to get up there and also have a vehicle available that can actually transport 4 wheels with tires. IAG is a good 3.5hr hike for me so it's not something I can do any day. Maybe it's a sign that it just wasn't meant to be.
They used to be EIP, a VW shop, changed their name a few years ago.
