I are insulted I have had three hotmail aco****s since hotmail started- still use them.
Posted from my compuserv account on 1200 baud modem.
I have my old hotmail account still, too. I've had it since 98, me thinks... I can't hardly use it for legit stuff, though, because of all the SPAM that's it in. I get literally hundreds of "p@n!s enlargement" e-mails a day. It is so hard to sort the crap out from the good stuff that I just don't bother.

Lost my password for my hotmail account. Getting back in is nothing short of impossible.

you still have a phone line?
Actually I do- $14/mo - DirecTV system and alarm required it. I do not have a compuserv account- might possibly have a 1200 baud modem on a shelf somewhere.

I have one that is used for any site that requires an email address- spam account- I will say hotmail filters all the spam to the junk mail folder
Another just for family and eBay- maybe 1 spam email every couple of months
A third for all of my domain registrations

I will agree that the hotmail SPAM filter is pretty good but the SPAM'ers are better. The asshats send the e-mails from different domains faster than I can ID stuff as SPAM. It all just moves around SO fast.

I've tried everything... I use complex passwords (25+ characters, mix of special, upper and lower case charcters and numbers) AND I rotate it regularly. I know they haven't hacked my account. I just don't know what else to do.
