Thats just the thing, I'm not getting full boost since I've broken the filter...and with the other filter there wasn't a proper seal between the filter and the intake pipe...

I believe the little vacuum effect that a filter creates makes it easier for a turbo to pull in air. Without a proper filter I haven't been getting more than 9.5 psi at redline and it is VERY laggy...and that also goes to prove in a sense that with out a filter there, it isn't able to spool up properly because there isn't optimal air flow there...
