Chris, nice pick up in FBL!!! I didn't even bother looking for Lowry because I had assumed he was already taken. Nicely done! I just watched him pitch the other day against the Astros.

It is.

I'm kind of wondering though. Lately I haven't been sleeping to well either. For about a week now I've been waking up numerous times throughout the night. Can't get a single decent night of sleep.

What all do you know about the Samsung T629 (I believe that's the number).

Other than the reception issues that I've told you about, I have been rather happy with my current phone itself - the T809. It's really outdated and I'm thinking about swapping out for the newer design.

The T809 had all the things that I really needed. I'm not too demanding on a telephone, as long as it can text and call I'm good.

Also, for lack of better words I'm pretty much deaf. Lately my T809 has the first ring rather loud - then the volume gets pretty quite. It's been rather annoying cause I can barely hear anything while driving.

What do you think?

Also... late night I plug my phone in on the charger while talking on my phone sitting in bed. The other night I turned and tugged on the wire a bit, the phone gave way and it just unplugged from the charger. Now the house charger that I have is a bit screwy.

Where the charger plugs into the wall... right where the wires comes out it must be pushed downwards - towards the wall itself. If it does, the phone charges no problem. If it wiggles though, the phone wont get the charge.

My girlfriend was nice enough to hook me up. She bought me a car charger and adapter, so I could use the car charger in my house.

Do you know if the T809 uses the same type of charger... or if I upgrade will the money recently spent be wasted?

The 629 is a much better phone than the 809. Samsung addressed the issues we had with the 809 for the 629. Good volume, good reception and the same features.

We just had a price change today for it making it as low as $49, basically 50% off what it has been priced previously. That could mean we recieved a promotion from Samsung or the phone is on its way out.

The model we stock is the T629NAB, basically it is the first in a generation of new phones that back up your address book to a server making the phone switch easy. As soon as the sim goes in a new phone the address book auto downloads.

Very nice. I've had the T809 for approximately 15 months now - so it's about time to upgrade.

With the purchase of a new TMobile phone, you have to sign up for a new 2 Year Agreement right?

How long has the 629 been out?

You dont have to sign up for 2 years. There is a "No contract" option (highest price) 1 year and 2 year. Obviously the longer you sign up the cheaper the phone is. Its been out for 6 or 7 months, the NAB version is a month old.
