You basically just stare like 200+ feet straight down - then the brakes just let go and you drop. It's probably the smoothest ride I've ever been on.

It's definitely worth the extra wait! Now that I have my Virginia Resident Funpass and my girlfriend lives 20 minutes from the park, I'll probably be there a lot this coming summer.
