Not bad! Other than coffee and soda, what else contains caffeine?
Chocolate is one. [/QUOTE]
I don't think I've eaten chocolate in a long time. Might have to occasionally buy a candy bar.

Skip, any idea how much, in moderation caffeine is needed?

That's what I've actually been thinking - either buy a candy buy or thing of lipton ice tea from time to time.

On that note, I'm getting some sleep - it's been a long day

Don't do the premade stuff.... there's too much artificial crap and sweeteners. Buy a box of the bags and keep it at your desk at work, and get hot water from the coffee machine!

Caffeine stimulates the brain. A small amount daily is recommended. I agree that sodas are bad, but not because of the caffeine in them. The carbonation and sugars(or sugar substitutes) are what makes them bad.

Unsweetened tea is the way to go. Caffeine plus high water content FTW. Be aware though that teas and coffes(coffee moreso) are bad for the teeth- stains them FTL.

I have to run to he store today, pick up some sandwich meat for lunches next week. Spending $7/day on lunch definitely adds up quick - much easier to drop a few bucks and just eat sandwiches.. then eat a nice huge dinner after work!

I'll pick up some when I go to the store. Any recommended brand?

Skip, thanks for the info on that! I knew that I had []heard[/i] caffeine was good, but was never really told 'why'. Typically when I go out to eat I'll have our server either bring me a lemonade or a water. Reading your last post, I'll probably try to switch it up to an unsweetened tea - I just know with how much sugar I normally put in tea, this could be a hard switch!

I drank coffee once I started selling cars again... just to help me wake up through the day. Pretty much stopped that I while back, I hate the aftertaste that you get.
