PRetty good so far, Windows 6 is very stable compared to previous versions, I suggest a memory card of atleast 1GB as windows is a memory hog. The voice command is pretty cool, it even reads the text message to you in the headset.

Dont really have too much more than that because it is new.

 

BTW Chad, we spoke about the T629... I suggest you wait to purchase a phone. I have been testing the new model T649 for the last 2 days and it is friggin pimp!

 

Actually, I'm tossing up a lot of idea's. We're going to see your friend Lloyd tomorrow evening, somewhere around 7:30 pm. I leave work at 6, am showing someone the NSX and then heading over that way.

But, after what you said I am thinking of waiting for the T649. Jane has mentioned lately the SKIII, but recently heard complaints of not being able to hear people with it being used as a phone.

Also, any idea what is going on with my T809? When I call someone, the first ring it is nice and loud... then it gets extremely quiet, any ring from that point forward is like I have the volume set to 1 bar. Then on top of that, if I'm driving I have to tell people who call me to speak up cause I can't hear anything.

I have bad hearing, but not nearly that bad.

 

Im not really suppose to talk about the t649 and nobody down there will know what you are talking about, I can say that I would use it as my phone, thats how much I like it.

As far as the t809, It dont see any know issues for this. I would say that there is either a software defect, but more likely the speaker is failing.

 

Oh yeah - anything that I talk to you about, unless it's released I wont discuss. You're the inside man!!! Except the Curve, since it's released as the Blackberry 8300 by Cingular. That is impressive though, based off that you would use it. Any rough idea on price ranges?

If it is software defect or speaker failing, what can I do about it? I like the phone... it has everything that I need and nothing less, I just don't like how it's outdated and how I can barely hear anything.

 

It may be under warranty, if so they will exchange you for a new device thru care or the store.

As for the 649, im thinking $99-$149. My favortire feature is the Chrome face with Ipod like touch sensitive buttons
