When I had my ticket for reckless driving the judge asked cop if he had his radar calibrated... he said he did, but had NO paperwork for it!
Back in the day I installed the K40 radar systems and they would pay the ticket for you if you got caught.

One of the reps, went to court and asked the judge to ask the police to produce the FCC license for the radar equipment, they could therefore were operating the equipment illegally and his ticket was thrown out

Tom let me know if Carolyn has to work late anytime soon and you can swing by the new place... Maybe go play some GT down the street while you wait.

- My radar detector really isn't too useful. Unfortunately with how low the NSX is, if I put radar towards top of windshield it's in directly eye view for a cop car... plus it is VERY noticeable if I have the top off. The best place for me to put it is at lower part of windshield near the A-Pillar. In that location, it's so low that it catches the signal almost too late.

Eh its subjective. I would say that because 80% of the world uses GSM or a hybrid of GSM that would be the better technology.
