You know what? I'd rather the old fool just fire me rather than this ass-kissing, downward spiral. At least I'd get unemployment and have enough time to actually do some serious job hunting. Not to mention a little vacation time. I mean... It is so damn depressing around here lately. The wheels are falling off of everything... It is incredibly hard to even be motivated enough to make the commute.
