I know the system in my Jeep is effed up. There is a tube that runs from the junk under the hood to a canister in the back that is rusted all to hell. I found it when I changed the brake lines. I don't really know what it does... I originally thought it was part of the fuel system but I have been corrected on that.

It doesn't throw a CEL or anything so I am just ignoring it for now. The inspector don't care and I don't care so...

I'm confused... You have the card in your possession BUT it is no good cuz the chick at the store didn't scan it? BUT you aren't pissed cuz you didn't pay for it, right? So basically everybody's time has just been wasted.

I honestly have no clue. From what I can tell, most Jeepers don't either. It is really weird lookin and just hangs out near the tailgate. It is tied into the wiring of the thing and, if you cut it, the CEL comes on so most just leave it alone.

It probably does something but it is a mystery to me.
